We know our brands are great and we stand by our selections, but don't want to just take our word for it! That's why we regularly hold wine tastings, classes, dinners and events to give you the opportunity to experience great wines, great food pairings and a chance to build you own wine education and palate by learning from some of the worlds great wine makers.
WINE TASTINGS
We regularly hold tasting events at both of our stores. They vary greatly in theme and size, but one thing is always guaranteed; you will have fun and try some great wines. All courses are lead by people who are knowledgeable, are unpretentious and interactive.
We can also tailor make courses for a special event / party or as part of a corporate team building event.

SENSORY EVALUATION COURSE
(Every Wednesday for 7 Weeks) Starting February 22 2012 ,6:30 - 8pm
This 7 week course is designed to give the correct foundation of how to taste wine correctly, learn what makes it good and bad, and then apply what you have learnt to the wines that you like to drink.
Over 7 weeks we learn how to assess wines by sight, aroma and mouthfeel and understand the relationships between these. We will look at the most important white and red varieties, learn how to serve wine and match it with food and finally the impact of good glasses can make on a wine.
This course is limited to a maximum of 9 people and booking is essential.

VINO MIXED DOZEN TASTING
Held usually on the first Saturday of every month in our An Phu store the VINO Mixed Dozen Tasting is a great opportunity to try what's new and hot!
Its also a bit of a social.
Every month we select 6 great wines, which we are currently enjoying and think that you should try.
The tasting is 150,000vnd a person or FREE when you take dozen.
Jim & Kylie from VINO and Ben Winspear, Manager for the the Alfresco's group (JASPA's) came together to create SPAMCHAM almost 3 years ago.
SPAMCHAM is a fun, social evening held on the last Wednesday of every month. 200,000vnd gets you in the door and includes an open bar including free flow Peppermint Grove wines, delicious snacks provided by JASPA's and guaranteed fun! A monthly raffle ensures lots of great prizes are there to be won and all proceeds are donated to the Loreto Vietnam Australia Program
